Hey Internet land! So I just realized I haven’t posted in a while (just a year and a bit). Shitz, my bad. Been insanely busy, you know trying to make dat paper (barely). Story: Keeping this short. The Fullblast came out of retirement to record a new EP, and play a few sensual shows. Since I was young when they disbanded, I only got to see the play once for about 1.5 minutes. I was unable to make the reunion shows that followed a few years after to make it worse. Finally this one was mine and giving everyone a helping hand were Tragic Hearts, Royal Tusk (who just finished playing a killer gig at The Phoenix) and home town lovers and sweethearts – Brighter Brightest. The blast took the stage, and well, the rest are in the photos. Amazing night, thanks everyone.
I was lucky enough to be asked to be apart of Brother!, a benefit show for Big John K (Toronto’s best door man) who is currently battling cancer. A slew of friends and bands came out in support including Partycat, Like Pacific, Little Black Dress, Teenage Kicks, DJ Mensa, Rob Dyer w/ Skate4Cancer, Audioblood and Sneaky Dees. A huge thanks to everyone who came out, I know we made John proud!
